Presentations teaching general information on behavior or specific topics such as fear, aggression, avoidance as well as dog body language and training. My seminars vary in length but typically run about an hour, followed by a question and answer period. Some topics I’ve done in the past are listed below, but I am more than happy to put together new seminars on the topic of your choosing. The most popular is Dog Communication and Pack Behavior, which is a great educational seminar for people working with dogs, or for anyone who wants to better understand dog communication. Prices of seminars are either a flat rate or per person of those attending depending upon the situation. Programs can be one time events or done in a series, and can be customized for specific needs and situations.

Dog Care with Jeff Coltenback
Every dog owner can do something to improve the quality of life they have with their dog. Whether you have a new puppy or a senior pooch, there are ways to take better care of your furry friend enabling you to have a healthier dog inside and out. For this seminar I’ve teamed up with canine nutrition expert Jeff Coltenback to give you the tools to enhance your relationship with your dog and keep him around for many years to come.
The Big Four
Dog owners everywhere are inadvertently making mistakes that are causing their dogs to develop behavioral issues. If untreated these issues could lead to the decision to give the dog up. The worst part is that many of the things you think are good for your dog are actually contributing to your dog’s bad behavior. I’ll go over the four big things you may be doing right now, that you think are good for your dog, but in reality are negatively affecting him. Learn the truth about what really needs to be done to keep you and your dog living happily together, forever. I’ll also take questions regarding your dog’s individual issues and offer advice to help get you back on track.
Aggression
No label sticks to a dog like the word aggression. Once your dog has been branded with it, you will end up the outcast in your community, the villain in the dog park, and the uninvited guest at dog friendly events. Some dogs get called aggressive for the wrong reasons and some people even put that heavy stigma on their very own dogs incorrectly. We’ll discuss aggression with other dogs, people, and food aggression (resource guarding). Learn the truth about dog aggression and what you can do to help your dog move forward to becoming a more balanced and happy dog.
