For the last 8 years, dogs have been my life. Between dog training, mentoring new dog trainers and creating and developing The FernDog Rescue Foundation it’s been pretty much 24/7 pooches.

Which has be awesome – I wouldn’t have it any other way. I love what I do and look forward to it every single day.

Lately I’ve been thinking about how I got here (maybe some kind of midlife crisis thing, without the crisis) and traced it all back to the beginning of my life growing up in Leonia, NJ. In this video I go back to my childhood home and reflect on my early years and how I got my start with dogs and in rescue.

I would really appreciate your support for my annual Strut Your Mutt walk. Please help me and The FernDog Rescue Foundation save more dogs.
